The Schutt DNA Pro Plus Youth Football Helmet is updated over the DNA Pro with the new Skydex 2 cushioning system. The advanced cushioning system features 3-D cushioning which conforms to the shell more closely eliminating breaks, meaning better protection. As opposed to the foam padding found in older traditional helmets, TPU Cushioning performs equally well at higher temperatures, does not take a compression set, eliminates the break-in period for the helmet and, unlike, is highly resistant to mold, bacteria and mildew. This football helmet also has a unique SUREFIT Air Liner which is two pieces and conforms to the contours of each player's head, providing the most comfortable fit.
